Occasionally, at times of very high demand, it may take us up to 3 working days to process and dispatch your order. If this is the case we will contact you and confirm the dispatch date. If you need your order by a specific date please tell us this by entering it in the "order comments, special requests" on checkout or by phone or email. We will do everything in our power to get your jewellery to you by your required date. Once the item is dispatched, delivery in the UK should be next day. Outside of the UK, shipping time varies widely depending on the destination so the final arrival date will depend on the local postal network in your country, however in our experience orders arrive anywhere in the world within 10 working days of shipping confirmation. How much will delivery cost?Delivery charges are as follows. Deliveries will require a signature on arrival except for Airmail deliveries 1st class recorded delivery, BFPO and non mainland UK & Europe airmail £2.45 or Special next day delivery £5.00 or Airsure to non mainland UK and Europe £5.00 or In the event of a postal strike you can choose Courier Delivery. £4.00 Can you deliver to a different delivery address? No problem at all, just give us the delivery details at checkout and we’ll deliver to it. Will you deliver anywhere? We deliver to all countries within Europe. We also deliver to Australia, New Zealand, Canada & the US as standard. We will consider other countries on a case by case basis, however, for the purpose of protecting our customers from fraudulent transactions, we reserve the right to decline orders from countries deemed to be high risk. Please contact us if your country does not appear in the drop down menu of standard countries we deliver to. Do I have to be there to take delivery of my order? Yes. You or someone else should need to sign for the delivery. If no one is available then most postal services will leave you a card and take it back to their sorting office, you can pick it up there or arrange redelivery. My item was shipped but I have not received it yet, what do I do? Within the UK, when we dispatch your order we will update it with the tracking number for your parcel. You can then track this via the Track & Trace service online. For International orders, although we pay for the priority tracking service, in fact as soon as it arrives in the destination country the tracking stops as local postal services do not provide tracking information for foreign parcels (very helpful!). However, IF the parcel does not arrive we do have the ability to start a search and reclaim procedure so you will not be charged for lost parcels. If you are worried and it has been longer than our suggested delivery time, then please send us an email or give us a call and we will do what we can to find your parcel or arrange a new one for you. How is my gift packaged? Each and every purchase from Bish Bosh Becca no matter how small, will be gift wrapped free of charge. Your order will then be beautifully wrapped by us in one of our black branded gift boxes; it will then be tied with ivory satin ribbon. If you require a personalized gift card to be sent with your order, we will even handwrite that for you at no extra cost. Just enter your message in the message field. Orders that appear to create a set, for example matching earrings and necklace will be gift wrapped in the same box. If you would like them packaged separately please let us know. Are all duties paid for international orders? Within the EU all duties are already paid. Outside of the EU, any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches your country. These duties and any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. However, in our experience, most orders are usually under the threshold for import duties so no additional charges are added. To be absolutely sure, you may want to contact your local customs office for further information. Returns Questions My item is faulty, what do I do?Please return the jewellery to us (or call first) explaining the fault. If the item is faulty, we will refund the cost of the item, including original delivery costs to you, plus delivery costs incurred by you when returning the item to us by postal service. Can I return something if I don't like it? Yes you can. You will need to notify us within 7 days of receipt and return the item to us in its original state with all packaging intact and we will then refund you or arrange a replacement. Please see our terms and conditions for details. When the item is a Christmas present the 7 days will be from 25th December rather than from receipt. If it is a gift for a specific date (Birthday, anniversary etc) let us know and we will extend your 7 day guarantee so that you get 7 days from the special date. Please bear in mind that we lose about 20% of the cost of every piece that is returned in postage and non refundable order processing and credit card charges. So please do not order items on a trial basis as these costs damage our business and mean, in future, we won't be able offer people the great prices we do at the moment. Thank you. I have received a piece of jewellery from your site as a present and it is unsuitable. I don't want to offend the sender but I would like to exchange it?No problem, this does happen. Jewellery Care Questions Pearl care guidelinesFreshwater pearls are delicate items which can be harmed unless looked after correctly. The products that harm pearls the most are the perfumes, hair sprays, cosmetics and make up that we wear every day. Along with other household chemicals, if sprayed near pearls these products can build up on the pearl and damage the surface of the pearl. The surface can become marked, dull, pitted and lose that luminous lustre that defines a freshwater pearl. - Put your pearls on after you have applied make-up, perfume and hair sprays.
- Don’t spray perfume on the neck area where the pearls will actually sit.
- Avoid touching your pearls when you have just applied hand cream and remove your pearls before applying cleansers or night creams.
- Put them back in their original container, or a velvet lined box. Never store them in plastic.
- Do not put your pearls anywhere hot as the heat will discolour them. Do not steam clean them for the same reason.
- Do not clean pearls using any of the jewellery cleaners made for gold or silver jewellery.
- Also do not use the ultrasonic cleaning sets as the vibrations can cause the pearls to rub against each other.
By following these basic guidelines, your will ensure that your freshwater pearls stay as beautiful as they are when you receive them. Fine Jewellery Care & CleaningJewellery and gemstones require special care when wearing, storing, or cleaning. Here are some Do's and Don'ts: Don't wear fine jewellery when doing housework or gardening. Don't heap your jewellery into one drawer. Remember a diamond ring can scratch that pearl necklace. Keep them separate and ideally wrapped in velvet, paper, or silk. Silver Jewellery Care And CleaningTarnish is a product of oxidation, caused by the interaction of silver jewellery with certain elements such as oxygen or sulfur as well as with certain acids. Tarnishing on silver jewelry, when worn on a regular basis, usually does not occur. Storage for a prolonged time causes silver jewelry to tarnish. Contact with rubber bands may cause tarnish - the sulfur in rubber is a catalyst for tarnish. Taking a medication that changes the acidity of your skin may cause silver jewelry to tarnish. To keep your silver tarnish-free, frequently clean your silver in a mild dishwashing liquid diluted in water. Thoroughly dry your silver jewellery after exposure to water. Store silver in a dry container or a plastic bag with anti-tarnish paper. To remove tarnish or oxidation film from silver you can use fresh, uncontaminated commercial silver dip liquid, polish paste or polish cloth, available in jewelry supply or hardware stores. Make sure there are no loose stones or parts. Limit the gemstone's exposure to silver cleaners - cleaners may harm certain kinds of gemstones. Please read the cleaning product's instructions before cleaning. Thoroughly rinse jewelry after cleaning, and dry with a soft cloth until it's completely dry.
